Oscar Liang is a multirotor FPV enthusiast, who has a wealth of knowledge about quadcoptors and drones. His website has been around since 2013 and has well over 600 articles about everything related to building your own drone, DIY hacks, and product reviews.

 

MyFirstDrone

Chances are that you have already stumbled across Korey Smith’s MyFirstDrone website. Korey has many articles on his website that simply show you the basics of building, and trouble shooting your own quadcopter. I’m sure you will find his website to be a valuable resource.

UAV Coach

UAV Coach is the go to place for the online drone enthusiast community. They have over 35,000 members, and offer a growing library of online training for drone pilots. They also have an excellent blog, which provides updates on drone products and the industry.

The Drone Girl

I am a big fan of Sally French, founder of The Drone Girl. She is a sought after speaker on drones, and has appeared at South by Southwest (SXSW), the Harvard Business, and Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences’ “Engineering + Entrepreneurship Making Robotics Fly” event.

We need to see more women venture into the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) fields, and its great to see Sally advance these efforts.
